They are the ones who supported considerably the rise of New Age philosophies or New Age spirituality. Helena Blavatsky (1831-1891), Alice Bailey, (1880-1949), and Mary Baker Eddy (1821-1910).

Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831-1891)

She is original from Russia. She was born on 12 August in the 1831 year. She was a Russian author who was the co-founder of the Theosophical society in 1875. This year, she co-founded the theosophical society with Olcott and William Quan Judge in New York. The Society of theosophy is created in order to strengthen the theosophical views and provide them to the theosophists. It includes numerous spiritual and religious practices and beliefs such as Vedanta, Mahayana Buddhism and other religious beliefs. The Society of theosophy emphasizes cultures that are common in different parts of the world and because of this it is seen as a bridge among those parts.

Alice Bailey (1880-1949)

She was an English writer. She lived in England until she moved to USA. When she moved there, she was with her husband. However, they got divorce in 1915, and she embarked upon something new. She got interested in the theosophical society and decided to give lectures on the topic of spirituality practices like reincarnation, karma, and occultism. She got a job offer from the society’s magazine, The Messenger and worked there as an editor of the magazines. After some period, she published her first 19 books on a spiritual master and channeling.

In 1920, she had own cult, and she would teach them reincarnation techniques. In 1923, Arcane School was founded by her in New York, and there, meditation and new-spirituality were taught. Actually, new-age movement was attributed to these her efforts during 1960s. She died on 15 – December 1949 in New York City.

Mary Baker Eddy (1821-1910) 

She was born on 16 – July 1821 in the United State. She is known as a founder of Christian Science and publication of Science and Health (1875). Christian Science encompasses many belief systems and practices connected to the people who are from of the first church of Christ. Adherents are famous as Christian Scientists or students of Christian Science. Additionally, the church is usually called as an informal name like the Christian Science church. Marry Baker founded it in the 19th century. Afterwards, her book named Science and Health with the key to the scriptures gained unprecedented fame and its copies countless sold worldwide.
